Holiday Homework for English
The English files were returned to the pupils today so that they can revise their work during the holidays. Please remove all the worksheets in the file and let your child bring back an empty file to school next Term. This will lighten the load. We will then use the file for Term 2's worksheets.
During the holidays, do get your child to:
(1)read at least 5 story books
(2)learn spelling
(3)complete the penmanship exercises
Thank you and enjoy the holidays with your child.

CCA and Math File
Dear Parents,
For the pupils' Art CCA which begins on 23rd March, the Art teacher requires them to bring along an Art apron or a big, old T-shirt to prevent their uniform from being dirtied. Please label the apron or T-shirt with your child's name and class, and get them to hand it to me by next Wednesday.
I have returned pupils' Math File (Blue) as well as their Part 1 Workbook. They may keep these at home for revision over the March holidays. However, I will be collecting the Math File once school re-opens. Please help to ensure that all their marked Math Worksheets are duly filed.

At the Library
The pupils went to the library yesterday. They had a selection of books to pick from to read. After reading for half an hour, they selected their favourite book and wrote a simple book review on it. They identified the title and author of the book and wrote a phrase on what the book is about. They also drew a picture of the book.

'What we are frightened of' and 'How we travel'
After reading 'Hairy Bear', pupils gave their individual response to the story. In the Big Book, Mama Bear was frightened of robbers. The pupils wrote about what they were frightened of. Some of them also explained why they were frightened of the object or animal.

After reading the Big Book, 'To Town', the pupils wrote about the mode of transport they will use to travel to a place. They also named the colour of the vehicle.
