Visit to Woodlands Regional Library

Today, we visited the Woodlands Regional Library for our Learning Journey.
The librarian gave us a talk and she read us two interesting stories.
Then we went around and explored the Children's Section.

Preparation for SA1 - Math

We have completed Test 4 and SA1 practice paper.  Some pupils are well-prepared for SA1 next week but some are not quite ready.
Other than the areas of concern I have raised in my last blog entry, some others are that:

1.  some questions are left undone
2.  pupils not checking their papers (some didn't even write their names on their papers!)
3.  some pupils are still not able to spell number words (especially eleven, twelve, twenty, thirteen and fifteen)
4.  problematic area : 6+4 = ___ - 10
Most pupils wrote the answer as 10 without taking into consideration the highlighted portion.  Answer should be 20.

Please file all returned worksheets and test papers.  Use this weekend to go through the Math file and workbooks.
Final weekend before SA1, let's PERSEVERE 1C!
